On the address side of this postcard Parrish drew a smiling face inside the dotted-lined circle where the postmark was meant to be stamped. On the verso, Parrish caricatures himself as an experienced traveler with his carpet bag under his arm and a furled umbrella in hand. He conveys the many miles he has traveled by drawing oversized feet outstretched on extra long legs. His coat billows forward while a feather in his hatband floats backward.
